For optimal benefits, the current science suggests 57 minutes of sauna and 11 minutes of ice bath a week, which equates to 2 x 1 hour sessions approximately per week.

Even one session can leave you feeling physically refreshed and mentally reset, so whenever you can perform contrast therapy, it will be worth it.
Is sauna and ice bath therapy suitable for everyone?
No it is not. Please consult with your GP before booking if you have any of the following:-
- Epilepsy
- Raynaud’s syndrome
- Pregnancy
- Cardiovascular conditions
- High blood pressure and use of medication for this
- Kidney failure
- Migraines
- Panic disorder
- Cold urticaria
- Severe asthma
Can I attend if I am recovering from illness?
For your safety and out of respect for other clients, please postpone your session if you:-

- Have a fever or active infection
- Are feeling unwell (cold, flu, virus, stomach bug)
- Have contagious skin conditions
- Have open wounds or unhealed cuts
- Have recently had surgery (unless cleared by your GP)

Contrast therapy places stress on the body (in a positive way when you are feeling well). If your immune system is already working hard, it's best to allow your body to fully recover first.
